The Cancer Research UK Imperial Centre is a partnership between Imperial College London, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Cancer Research UK and Imperial Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC).

What we do

As Imperial College London’s Cancer Research hub, we bring together innovative research and technologies, and talented researchers from across the college, in a coordinated effort to tackle cancer treatment and prevention.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

The Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT) employs 10,000 people, providing care for around a million people every year, in five hospitals and a growing number of community services in north west London. ICNHT’s cancer service is one of the foremost cancer centres in the country, with one of the best survival rates, and the highest trial recruitment rates.

ECMC

The Imperial Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) is one of 18 Adult Centres in the national network. The aims of the ECMC Network are to act efficiently and effectively to support delivery of early phase cancer studies between research partners to drive faster, more personalised benefits to patients.
